What can I expect during a consultation?
Consultations can be on the phone or virtually through a secure video chat. They’re a casual conversation that can last 15-20 minutes. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions you have, as well as for me to find out about what kind of support you’re looking for.
Do you only work with a specific type of client?
Although I am passionate about supporting issues such as chronic health conditions (like Celiac disease), body image challenges, and identity, I think the most important thing is to find the right fit on a personal level. I love connecting with people and if you think I might be a good fit for you, reach out!
How often should I come to therapy?
This is so individual! I discuss this with each client but ultimately, it is up to you and what your needs are. Some clients like to come weekly, a few times a month, or just periodically when support feels needed. My philosophy is flexibility, knowing life has ebbs and flows.
