Background

My passion for helping others has been shaped by many of my own lived experiences — something I believe is true for many therapists. When I was diagnosed with Celiac disease (an autoimmune health condition) in 2015, it challenged me to grow and adapt in unexpected ways. I came to recognize how complex and overwhelming life can feel when navigating chronic health issues. They can impact identity, self-esteem, and relationships, to name a few.

I'm especially passionate about supporting people as they explore what health and wellness means to them — particularly when living with conditions that touch every part of life. How can we feel less overwhelmed, more at supported and at peace, and discover joy in the life we're living?

Professionally, I've worked in the creative and tech industries, as well as spent several years working with a diverse population of adolescents in educational settings, focusing on well-being and the therapeutic value of art. I’ve also had the privilege of working as a Family Therapist with Sources BC.
